Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a licence to ride a jet ski?
No! You don't need any licence or prior experience. Our professional guides provide a comprehensive safety briefing and will be with you throughout the tour.
What should I bring?
Bring swimmers, a towel, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure! We provide life jackets and all safety equipment. We recommend wearing clothes that can get wet.
What is the minimum age?
Drivers must be 18 years or older. Passengers can be as young as 8 years old on most tours (12 for Whitsunday Wonders). Children must ride with an adult.
Can I bring my phone or camera?
We recommend leaving valuables in your car or accommodation. We provide waterproof pouches for small items, but we cannot be responsible for water damage. Our guides take photos during the tour!
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our priority. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule your tour or provide a full refund. Light rain doesn't stop us - it can actually make the experience more fun!
How many people per jet ski?
Each jet ski can carry 1 driver and 1 passenger. Solo riders are welcome!
What if I've never ridden a jet ski before?
Perfect! Most of our guests are first-timers. Our jet skis are easy to operate and our guides ensure everyone is comfortable before we head out.
Where do we meet?
We depart from Port of Airlie Marina, 269 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach. Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour time.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, we offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour. Contact us to reschedule.
Are the tours suitable for non-swimmers?
Yes! You'll be wearing a life jacket at all times. While some tours include optional swimming stops, you can stay on the jet ski if you prefer.
